  • Personally Identifiable Information (Email Address): We collect your email address via the secure Chrome Identity API.
    Purpose: This is used exclusively to create and manage your subscription account, verify your identity, and communicate important account-related information.
  • Authentication Information: We use authentication tokens provided by our payment processor (Stripe) to verify that you have an active subscription.
    Important: We do not handle, store, or have access to your raw payment details, such as credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled securely by our third-party provider.
  • Website Content & User Activity (Non-Personal): The Extension processes the structure (DOM) of web pages to identify and block ad elements. It also intercepts network requests to block those directed to ad and tracker domains.
    Crucially, this data is processed locally within your browser. It is not stored, transmitted, or used to track your personal browsing habits.
  • Performance Data (Non-Personal & Aggregated): The Extension may collect anonymized, aggregate data on its own performance, such as CPU and memory usage, to demonstrate its efficiency.
    Purpose: This helps us improve the Extension's performance and ensure service quality. This data is not and cannot be tied to any individual user.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the core ad-blocking functionality of the Extension.
  • To manage your subscription account and provide you with customer support.
  • To communicate important service-related notices, such as updates or security alerts.
  • To ensure the technical quality and security of our service.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We only share information with trusted third-party service providers when it is absolutely necessary for them to perform a service on our behalf. Our primary third-party partner is our payment processor (Stripe), which handles all subscription-related transactions. They are bound by their own strict privacy policies.

We are committed to protecting your data. We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure server infrastructure, to safeguard the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We retain your personal data (i.e., your email address) only for as long as you maintain an active account with us. If you choose to delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal information from our systems. Anonymized, aggregated performance data may be retained for analytical purposes.
